Easter Cake (Folar)

Ingredients: 250ml milk, 2 tablespoons of baking powder gluten-free, 500g gluten-free flour, 110g sugar, 1 teaspoon of fine salt, 1 teaspoon of fennel, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 100g of melted butter and 2 eggs (1 boiled egg to decorate and 1 egg yolk to spread on the surface).

Preparation:

01.Put all the ingredients in a large bowl except the eggs.

02.Knead well with your hands for 15 minutes.

03.Let the dough rest for 45 minutes.

04.Remove the dough from the bowl and form a ball and put the boiled egg in the center, press gently and cover with two crossed strips of dough. Brush the surface with the egg yolk.

05.Put the cake in the oven, preheated at 180 ºC, for 35 minutes.
