
This cake was made for Sofia’s birthday. One of her friends is celiac (*) and we thought that was a good idea to serve only gluten-free food, including this delicious brownie. See the recipe: English l Spanish l Portuguese.
(*) It’s generally accepted that one in 133 people have celiac disease, a genetic condition resulting in intestinal damage whenever they ingest gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley and rye (Anderson, Jane).
